It was a beautiful day - the Garden Ceremony in the park went so well. There was so much preparation - but it was all worth it. Everyone had a wonderful time. In between the ceremony and reception it was a bit frantic acquiring more gold fish for the table centres as some had already escaped the proceedings. I had forgotten it was Sunday and the shops closed early but a very nice pet shop retailer graciously let me in after closing to buy some more little fiddies! All was in readiness for a great reception.
The guests starting arriving in wait for the Bridal Party when a huge black cloud appeared out of nowhere, straight above us. Just as the Bridal Party had posed for their last photograph outside of the Reception Venue, down it came. Buckets of rain, bolts of lightning and huge bellows of thunder. And then - out of the blue or black I should say BANG - no power. None! Zero - Zilsh!!! Not until the end of the night did the lights all come back into action again but it did not take away from the beauty and magnificance - enjoyed by all on that Special Day.
